
Michael Perry

Michael A. Perry had over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was the co-founder of Opus Private Client, LLC, and Opus Advisory Group, LLC, where he aided in the development of a proprietary data aggregation and planning platform for individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives.
Michael had distinguished himself by skillfully identifying, developing, and assessing strategies that helped clients efficiently and effectively accumulate, protect, and distribute their wealth.
Early in his career, Michael focused on retirement planning for small to midsized businesses. That knowledge base led to sophisticated financial, retirement, and estate planning activity with a focus on the design and strategic solutions for annuities as well as life, disability, and long-term care insurance programs.
Michael had been an active member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County, and he served on boards and committees of several other professional organizations.
Acting on a desire to serve charitable organizations, Michael co-founded Opus Foundation, which has gifted hundreds of thousands of dollars to help children in need. He had also served on the board of directors and committees of numerous charities including American Red Cross, United Way, Foundation for California University (alma mater), the board of presidential advisors at California University, National Football Foundation, and the College Football Hall of Fame.
Michael graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in education. His experiences and interests in the world of finance as a naval aviator, United Airlines captain, a buyer of nuclear power plant equipment for the U.S. Navy, and real estate entrepreneur all contributed to him bringing added value to his clients.
Michael was an avid golfer, traveler, and reader of fictional series by authors like Vince Flynn and non-fiction books about military history.
